Who pays your fee?

The Apartment Connection receives commission from landlords and/or property managers upon closing, which covers our fee.

How will I view properties?

A partial list of available properties are listed on our website. We will also schedule a time to meet at our office or at the property of interest.

What types of buildings do you show?

As a brokerage we have access to a variety of rental units including apartments, flats, walk-ups, condos, townhomes, and occasionally single-family homes.

What areas do you service?

We service the North Side of the city of Chicago which includes: Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Wrigleyville, Wicker Park, Andersonville, Logan Square, Old Town, River North, Downtown, South Loop, West Loop, Gold Coast, West Town, Ukrainian Village, Bucktown, Lincoln Square, Albany Park, Ravenswood, North Center, Edgewater, Edgewater Glen, East and West Rogers Park.

How are you different from other real estate rental brokerages?

  1. We pride ourselves on a personal approach. You will work solely with one agent throughout the entire process. This eliminates going through multiple departments.
  2. We take the time to listen to your personal needs in a rental property in order to efficiently find a suitable match.
  3. Although our service is by appointment only, you will never be in a waiting room for 2-3 hours. We value your time and business!

How long is the overall process?

We can help you find a rental property in as little as one day. We make quick work due to long-standing relationships with landlords and detailed knowledge of area properties. We will make the process as quick as possible for you.

Do I need to bring anything to the appointment?

We recommend bringing any documents that can speed up the approval process including: two recent pay stubs, proof of address, two forms of identification (i.e. license, social security card, state ID), contact information of previous landlord(s), cosigner information and enough funds to generally cover first month’s rent and application fee(s).

Do you have any pet-friendly properties?

Yes, we have access to a variety of properties that are pet-friendly. They may or may not have extra fees per pet depending on the pet, size, weight, breed etc.

Do you have any short-term leases available?

Should I schedule an appointment?

We highly suggest making an appointment in order to give you our undivided attention and plenty of time.

Where is your office located?

Our office is located at 1000 West Diversey Parkway Chicago, IL. There is street parking, and we are conveniently located a half block from the Diversey Brown Line. Because we strive to provide service on a one-to-one basis, we adhere to a strict appointment-only policy, no walk-ins please.
